National policy work

DDP Senegal has contributed to:

  • The project was able to provide information regarding possible renewable energy targets to the JETP negotiations, thereby contributing to the conclusion of the JETP agreement with an ambitious target for renewable energy development in the country.
  • The project is currently providing inputs to the drafting of the Long-Term Vision in Senegal, via a process to bring together a wide range of stakeholders to design this long term development vision. The team at ENDA also work in close cooperation with the government around the elaboration of the LTV itself, via a project financed by the 2050 Platform.
