The DDP in-country work in Sierra Leone is ongoing with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Sierra Leone : its expertise in energy systems, power engineering, and energy planning provides a strong foundation for supporting long-term low-carbon transition analyses. The collaboration focuses on the development of Sierra Leone’s national deep decarbonization pathways, notably using the DDP Pathways Designer.

This workshop validating Sierra Leone’s Climate Policies Assessment was held on Thursday, at the University of Sierra Leone (USL), Freetown bringing together Forty (40) participants, including facilitators and stakeholders drawn from Government Ministries and Agencies, Academia, the Private Sector, Civil Society, and Development Partners.
