Climate technologies in Latin America: Conceptual framework for their adoption and opportunities for regional collaboration

Daniel Buira presented our recent study for ECLAC that aimed at developing a conceptual framework to identify families of disruptive technologies that contribute to reducing emissions and generate resilient processes for climate change adaptation and mitigation. The webinar was presented simultaneously in Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Uruguay, Chile, Buenos Aires and Brussels. A series of instruments are proposed to transform and give a new direction to the policies needed to drive changes towards sustainability, reorient the growth model and coordinate the required investments.
