This commentary was sent to the Mid Term Conference of the T20 Brazil (a group of think thanks supplying inputs to the G-20 Summit scheduled for November in Rio) held in July 2024.
It was drafted together with several Brazilian and international financial experts, including some IPCC members, former GCF members, our longtime partner Jean-Charles Hourcade (Direct, CIRED) as first author) and, Lola Vallejo (Climate Special Advisor at IDDRI, and has been co-chairing the UNFCCC’s Sharm el-Sheikh Mitigation Work Programme since March 2023.
This is highlighting the fruitful cooperation between IDDRI and COPPE.
